The resort's heated swimming pool allows you to cool off while enjoying the mountain view. By your side, your children will enjoy the games with jets and waterfall; the perfect plan for hot summer days!

Access

The Pin Rouge swimming pool is accessible free of charge to customers residing in a chalet in Pin Rouge and to those staying at the Pointe-Taylor campsite. The entrance fee is $5.00 for the public. 

 

Business hours

From June 28 to August 20, 2023, the swimming pool will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

August 21 and 22 - Closed

August 23-24-25 - Open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

From August 26, the pool will be open on weekends only, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The official closing will take place on September 3rd at 7 p.m. Good swim!

For security reasons, the swimming pool may have to close at any time. Check our Facebook page to be notified of changes.

 

Safety and regulations

 

A code of conduct and safety rules have been established to ensure pleasant and safe swimming for all pool users. It is mandatory to take note of these measures and to respect them to enjoy the bathing place at Pin Rouge. Thank you for your important collaboration.

 

Pool Rules

 

1. The maximum number of 50 people is authorized in the enclosure of the swimming pool.

2. No one should swim when they are alone in the pool or when the pool is not supervised by an authorized member of Parc régional Petite-Cascapédia.

3. A first aid kit is available in the pavilion.

4. In case of emergency, call 911. A phone is located at the entrance to the main lodge.

5. Wearing a bathing suit and a bathing cap is compulsory. You must use the changing rooms to change. 

6. Showering is mandatory before swimming. Showers are available for this purpose.

7. Children 8 years of age and under must at all times and in all places be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years of age or older, who must be within arm's reach. 

8. Entry into the swimming pool must be made through the places provided for this purpose.

9. Wearing shoes and bags are prohibited on the boardwalk. 

10. It is forbidden to bring and consume food or drink in the pool areas. No glass containers will be tolerated on the promenade, in the swimming pool or in the changing rooms. It is strictly forbidden to pollute the water in any other way. Only disposable swimsuit type diapers are accepted in the pool. 

11. It is forbidden to run and jostle in the enclosure of the swimming pool.

12. Equipment such as personal flotation devices, aqua-jogging belts or dorsal balloons are accepted. All materials and equipment must be used properly and safely. 

13. The consumption of tobacco, alcohol or any illicit substance is strictly prohibited at the swimming pool as well as in the surrounding landscaped areas, just as it is prohibited for an impaired person to access the swimming area.

14. We are not responsible for lost, broken or stolen items. 

15. Citizenship and politeness are required at all times and in all places. Please report any incident to the person in charge of surveillance. 

16. It is forbidden to dive or practice apnea. 

17. Access to the swimming pool will be refused to a person with a skin lesion, a skin disease, a contagious or infectious disease or to a person wearing a bandage. 

The presence of a person in the areas of the pool will be interpreted as a tacit acceptance on his part to respect the regulations related to swimming. The authority of the person in charge of monitoring is that which prevails at all times. For this reason, it reserves the right to expel anyone who interferes with the proper functioning of the bathing activity. In this case, no refund will be made.

Users could be evacuated and access to the swimming pool prohibited at all times for safety reasons.
